Here are some frequently asked questions about Artis Carrol Photography. We ask that you read these before submitting questions .

What sort of events are you available for hire? Banquets, parties (anniversary, birthday, etc) personal photo shoots, Sweet sixteens/Quinceaneras, family reunions.

Are you available for weddings? No, but we are available for engagement parties, bridal parties and the like.

As a parent/guardian, I'm a little concerned about you putting my child/children's photos up on your site. We understand your concern, that is why we insist on having a signed model release form before performing any work with individuals under the age of 18. The release form strictly forbids Artis Carrol Photography from releasing your child/children's name and selling any photographs to outside entities without your express written consent.

Your child/children's photographs will be housed on a secure page so if you have friends and family who would like to purchase photographs from this site they will only be able to do so at your discretion.

Does your business do FREE work for charities? NO we do not, but we do make special arrangements for charitable/non-profit organizations who are serving their communities.

Does your business offer group rates? Yes, there are discounts for groups over twenty for photoshoots or corporate head shots.

Does your business work with individuals who need your services on short notice? Generally, we prefer at least two weeks notice for any event, but we understand that special circumstances arise that are beyond normal control. Contact us, and we will try our best to accomodate.

What is the maximum distance your business is willing to travel for an engagement? For most events, the maximum limit is 125 miles in any direction from Chicago, but special consideration will be made for large jobs. Please note, that additional charges will be assessed.

A lot of photographers I encounter do not post their fees online, why are you different? We believe that our fees are competitive for our area. So we have no qualms about posting them in an easy to understand and upfront manner.
